| If you want to make someone angry, tell him a lie; if you want to make him furious, tell him the truth. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, second it is violently opposed, and third, it is accepted as self-evident. - Arthur Schopenhauer Philosopher, 1788-1860 |

| Some people have dubbed this federal lawsuit "the battle of the former constable and the soon to be former policeman". However, Roy Denton sees it as what it really is, a willingness to stand up for his rights and in the process show others how to do the same thing. Roy, who is NOT a lawyer sure seems to have missed his calling. In cases both present and past, people that have read his pleadings reminds them of a soccer game. Roy with his powerful legal leg has kicking attorneys around like a partially deflated soccer ball. People may not like to hear it put that way but read the case for yourself. You decided. But in any event, we are posting this lawsuit online so others can realize what it is like to take on a task such as what he has done. As Roy says, it is hard to fight an entire machine alone but you can disassemble it one nut at a time. It seems that this Steve Rievley guy is apparently the "first nut". No pun intended |

| The above article is a few months old but I feel the urge to bring it up to the front because sometimes people hate to venture into those "scary-dark" pages over on the WolfEagle section. I think a few people, or should I call them "dots" will get the message soon enough. |
| STOP THE PRESS!!! What kind of S.W.A.T. team are we here at TennesseeGadFly.com? No wait, this isn't TennesseeGadFly, this is the S.W.A.T. support section. I almost forgot how we no longer put our eggs in one basket anymore. Oh well... Anyway, I want to apologize for my shortcomings in providing to YOU, our readers who are actually coming back ever so slowly but ever so certainly time after time to read what you will NEVER read in some Boy Scout sized newspaper that looks like a small Enquirer begging for ads. Personally, I think it's funny. Now with that off my chest, the Internal Control and Compliance Manual that is linked a couple articles above is merely Appendix C of a rather thick manual with a long great sounding name called the: Internal Control and Compliance Manual for Tennessee Municipalities the City Manual The Appendix C is great and is a great start to a venture of actually KNOWING what the deal is when it comes to the city of Dayton as opposed to what some smiley dude that can dive head first into roaring rapid water and never get his hair wet tells you. Then again, people such as he is actually pretty far down the food chain. Oh, and by the way, we hadn't forgot that heroic story either <cough> So look at Appendix C above as the first sip of a hot cup of coffee and click on this link for the ENTIRE MANUAL.
