One day I will learn that I do not have to defend myself to a bunch of anonymous
people who feel brave only because of that anonymity who make the conscious choice
to continue using my name and Roy's name on the website Topix. I am responding to
those that feel so free to be sarcastic and cruel all while remaining unknown. I
refuse to type on the site as what these anonymous people have continued to do now
for months and months.
I can get along with people, but I will not communicate with people in a forum that
are anonymous but condemn others for doing the very same thing.
I am not Kday, I am not June Griffin, I am one and one person only. I am Kim Denton,
I am not whining. I am asking people to quit bashing my and Roy's names in a number
of different ways. I have tried pleading my case with these anonymous bullies who
do nothing more than pass on gossip from A DECADE AGO. I have also stated my
case and tried to be firm and told them what I thought they were doing was wrong.
I guess since we are members of Dayton and I have just as much right to be here as
anyone else, but a select few do not see it that way then my only choice is to dismiss
them as foolish, cruel, envious, but last but not least cowardly in their behavior
towards my husband and I on (Topix) just one of a million websites.
I am typing this response HERE because as I said. I NO LONGER POST ON TOPIX.
Next thing I will be reading and trust me, I read there only because this is a prime
example that you cannot reason with people of this mentality. The next thing I will be
reading is that in their opinion I do not even have the right to read what is being
written about me or my husband on this site.
I do not have to prove anything to someone that is not viable enough to reveal their
true name. The one thing I feel I must do though is correct those who I feel have
done me or my husband wrong. You people are wrong. This does not make me a
whiner. One thing for sure is, I have a hell of a lot more confidence in who I am than
you do about yourself. I am sorry if my being Kim Denton is a problem for you.
Maybe, and I truly hope one day, I will no longer be a problem for you. The only way
you could ever understand what I am trying to say is if someone was doing to you
what you are doing to us. Each time you post someone's real name under anonymity
you only prove one thing that you, continue to be, and more than likely will always be
someone that has some serious problems with people being real about themselves
and being truthful about it.
So continue to make your accusations that now I am Kday or June Griffin, God knows
who else you will bring up, but finally I am Kim Denton and when I have posted on
Topix I have stated who I am. I have no desire to get on that site and play mindless
childish games with people who don't even have enough consideration for anyone when
someone asks them to stop saying things that are just plain wrong and untrue.
You call me a whiner and yet you admit to spreading gossip, you make fun of people
and then turn right around and claim to try to make comments and not spread gossip
and give everyone a chance to state their opinion. When in fact all you do is spread
gossip and then cut down people that are truthful AND let you know who they are and
what they think.
Not everyone that types in the Dayton Forum on Topix is this way, but those that
have assumed that every poster who makes a comment on Topix that they do not like
it is getting tiredly ridiculous to read that EVERY SINGLE comment that a few don't
like, MUST BE THE DENTONS. Come on you narrow minded small-town mentality
type people. The internet is a huge huge place and is your mind capable of only
believing that so many posts are from just two people whom you happen do not like.
If you had read closely in the story posted on Topix then you would have
COMPREHENDED that I KNOW OF THE COMMENTS through someone letting us
know, "you better check up on Topix, they are doing it again." I never slander anyone
on the site, and especially do not use other people's names other than public officials
